Audi San Juan Cars & Coffee

________________________________
There’s no better way to start your weekend than with a morning car meet with such a wide variety of rides. I’ve been looking forward to this Cars & Coffee event, hosted by Audi of San Juan (and Mercedes-Benz of San Juan) for a while now. And this time I actually remembered to get the ride cleaned up a bit.

I pulled up and saw some familiar faces who like me, ended up getting there a little early. I caught up with Andy and Geovanni after parking my car a little ways off and made sure I wasn’t taking up any of the “reserved spots”. You’d think those spots would be sort of expected to be there before the show starts but I get it, timing things with the ongoing traffic in the area can be a pain haha.

Before a long line started forming, I made my way over to the two Dutch Bros “Broistas” and grabbed a cold brew. By the time I had my drink in hand, the DJ had already started getting the music going and set the tone for the morning. I gravitated over to a lineup of Civics and caught up with Patrick to talk about his J swapped coupe for a bit. The rest of the CPR performance crew also had their boosted hatches, and eventually were joined by another K swapped hatch and Integra (boosted_yogi_awd). I guess it’s safe to say that in a sea of exotics and super cars – you’ll still find me in a row of H badges lol.

I made the rounds, talked to some of the guys of Team Hats Off and Mr. Alex Vero to see what was new on his somewhat freshly wrapped FD Rx7. And I realized the list of cars I have lined up to sit down and feature is getting a bit long…and I really need to get a start on that! And before overthinking my way into an anxiety attack about all that, I ventured off to finish off my morning at the event.

It’s honestly really great to see local businesses starting to get involved in putting together meets like this. And while you’d think having something like this at a dealership would feel like a giant “sales pitch”, the entire crew from Audi San Juan was handing out gift bags, checking out the rides themselves, and making sure everything was running smooth. It was very clear that this wasn’t some attempt at driving sales, but this was about the community and giving it a place to breathe.

Huge Thanks to
Audi San Juan
