Rev’d Afterhours

The first event of the year I covered ended up happening while I was up in San Antonio earlier this month. I try not to involve work/automotive related things when it’s family time, but I can’t feel too bad when I’m not the one trying to find events to check out in the area haha. We headed out to a chill meet that happens every first Friday of the month at Rev’d Customs the first night we were in town.

I think one of the more exciting parts about getting to check out events from outside your home area is not knowing what to expect when you get there. Is it going to be a light turnout? Is it going to be only certain types of builds? It was all a gamble worth taking in this case. After completely missing the entrance to the location and having to do a loop around (thanks Google Maps), we were able to find a spot out of the way to park the civic. Considering the event started at 7pm and we arrived about half an hour after, the main parking area surrounding the shop was already packed with imports, domestics, and exotics.
After making the rounds outside (and finding two cars that really captured my attention), it was time to check out the shop. Rev’d Customs is a “one stop” type of shop that offers exterior protection like PPF, ceramic coatings, and tint, to modifications like suspension upgrads, wheels, tires, vinyl wraps & more. This sort of event is a reminder that quality will always outweigh quantity, and it was a pretty awesome to have a chance to check out a San Antonio meet like this.
Thanks to Rev’d Customs
